The Texas Rangers failed to complete the sweep of the Minnesota Twins, falling 6-5 on Sunday in Arlington.
Starting pitcher Scott Feldman gave up 6 runs on 10 hits in his 5 2/3 innings. Feldman loses his 4th in a row to drop to 6-10 on the season.
The top of the Rangers batting order had a good night, as Kinsler, Moreland, and Hamilton all had hits and scored 4 of the 5 Texas runs. Hamilton had 4 RBI on the night with his 2-for-4 night at the plate. He also scored a run to give him a hand in every Rangers run in the game.
The Rangers remain 5 1/2 games ahead of the A’s, who were idle on Sunday.
Texas opens a home series against Tampa Bay tonight at Rangers Ballpark. Derek Holland is scheduled to take the mound against David Price. First pitch is at 7:05pm.
