Rangers lose 7-6

The Texas Rangers dropped a game to the Oakland A’s, losing 7-6.  Texas dropped behind early with pitcher Scott Feldman giving up 5 early runs.  The Rangers got close with a Grand Slam by Vladimir Guerrero in the 3rd.  Oakland added two more insurance runs in the 4th.

Guerrero added another RBI, bringing his total for the night to 5.  Josh Hamilton added another RBI in the 7th, but the Rangers could not score again.

After the 4th inning, Feldman did not allow another baserunner, but the early damage was too much for the Rangers to overcome.  Texas now holds only a half game lead over the A’s in the AL West.
