Rangers lose again to A’s

The Texas Rangers once again found themselves behind early against the Oakland A’s.  Texas was down 2-0 in the first inning and 3-0 by the fifth.  Rangers starting pitcher only gave up 3 hits through 6 innings, however, the A’s made them count.

By the end of the game, the Rangers had equalled the number of Oakland hits with 7, but only once could Texas get more than one hit per inning.  That once, was Vladimir Guerrero, who had the only Texas RBI.  In two games Guerrero has accounted for 6 of the 7 Ranger runs.

Oakland takes a game lead in the AL West, as Texas drops to .500.
