Rangers lose in Philadephia

The stats for Texas Rangers starting pitcher C.J. Wilson look good.  7 innings, 4 hits, 10 strikeouts.  A fine day until you notice 2 of the 4 hits were home runs and the Rangers offense was kept in check by Philadelphia pitcher Roy Halladay.  Wilson, who only gave up 3 runs, is credited with the loss.

Texas managed to get 7 hits in the game, but had trouble getting runners across home plate.  Adrian Beltre was the only Ranger with multiple hits, going 2 for 4.

The 3-2 loss drops the Rangers to within a game of .500.  Texas has yet to win in 4 tries at Citizens Bank Park.  The Rangers will try again Saturday at 6:15pm.
