Rangers Lose To Royals

The Texas Rangers offense finally sputtered as they lost 3-1 to the Kansas City Royals Monday night at the Ballpark in Arlington.

Texas was held to just 1 run in the game, a solo home run by Nelson Cruz in the 4th inning.  It was the only extra-base hit by the Rangers in the game.

Starting pitcher Scott Feldman allowed only 3 hits in his 4 2/3 innings, but they were enough to give up 2 unearned runs and hand him his first loss of the season.

The Rangers (23-13) will try to get back on track in game 2 versus the Royals tonight at 7:05.
