The Texas Rangers rallied behind a trio of rookies to lead them to a 6-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Saturday afternoon.

Rookie pitcher Yu Darvish went 5 2/3 innings, giving up 2 runs before leaving the game with no decision.  Darvish allowed 9 hits and walked 4 while striking out 4.  Fellow rookie Robbie Ross entered the game with the bases loaded in the 6th and bailed out the Rangers.  Ross ended up with his first career win after the Rangers went ahead for good in the top of the 7th inning.

Rookie Brandon Snyder, filling in for Mitch Moreland, started the Rangers rally with a leadoff single, then scored the winning run on a single by Adrian Beltre.  Texas added another run in the 7th, and two more for insurance in the 9th.

Ranger relievers Alexi Ogando, Mike Adams, and Joe Nathan combined to keep the Twins from scoring.

Snyder, Josh Hamilton, Beltre, and Nelson Cruz each had 3 hits for the Rangers, accounting for 12 of the 13 team hits.  Hamilton hit his 3rd home run of the season in the 3rd inning.
