Rangers shut out by Toronto

It’s bad enough that the Texas Rangers are playing MLB’s hottest offensive team.  It’s worse when the Rangers can’t generate any offense of their own.  The Rangers could only muster 5 hits all day off Toronto pitcher Ricky Romero who had his first complete game performance.

Romero struck out 12.  Only once did a Texas runner get as far as 2nd base in the entire game.

The Rangers were flat, no other words to describe it.  After going 5 straight games with 10 or more hits, it was time for a letdown.  Hopefully, Texas can bounce back as quickly as they fell down.
