Rangers Shutout Mariners

The Texas Rangers delivered another shutout victory on Sunday, this one against the Seattle Mariners.  The 3-0 win keeps the Rangers 4 1/2 games ahead of the Angels in the AL West with 9 to play.

Matt Harrison went 6 2/3 innings, striking out a career-high 9.  Harrison improves his record to 13-9.  Each of the Rangers starters have at least 13 wins this season, something that has never happened for Texas.  Neftali Feliz earned his 28th save.

Adrian Beltre hit the Rangers only home run, his 27th of the year.  Elvis Andrus went 3 for 5 to lead the Rangers to 12 hits on the day.

The Rangers have Monday off, before traveling to Oakland for a 3-game series.
