Rangers sweep Mariners, improve to 6-0

The Texas Rangers capped their second series sweep of the season with a 7-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners.

C.J. Wilson earned his first win of the season with a 7 inning outing.  Wilson gave up 6 hits while striking out 2.

The Rangers got 9 hits, but no home runs.  David Murphy and Yorvit Torrealba each got multiple hits to set up scoring for the Rangers.  Nelson Cruz knocked in 2 insurance runs in the 8th inning, his first multi-RBI game of the season.

Texas can tie a franchise-best record of 7-0 when they open their road season Friday at Baltimore.
