Rangers Sweep Red Sox

The Texas Rangers completed a sweep of the 2-game mini-series against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday with a 6-3 victory at Fenway Park.
Mike Napoli and Josh Hamilton each had 3 hits for the Rangers. Napoli put the Rangers in the lead with a home run in the 4th inning. It was his 3rd home run in the 2 games against Boston. Napoli added a double in the 8th inning that also scored 2.
Starting pitcher Derek Holland went 7 innings to earn his 2nd win of the season. Holland 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 7. Alexi Ogando and Joe Nathan each pitched an inning to finish off the Red Sox.
The Rangers improve to 10-2, their best start since 1989. Their road trip continues tonight in Detroit.
