Rangers Tie Club Record For Wins

The Texas Rangers won their 95th game Tuesday night against the Angels.  The 10-3 victory ties the club record with one game left.

Colby Lewis went 6 innings, giving up 3 hits while striking out 5 as he earned his 14th win of the year.  

Ian Kinsler hit is 32nd home run and stole a base for his 30th steal. 

The Rangers hit a total of 5 home runs in the game, with Mike Napoli hitting 2.  Texas hit 3 consecutive home runs in the 5th inning with Adrian Beltre, Napoli, and Nelson Cruz all going deep.

The Rangers hold a 1-game lead for the 2nd seed in the playoffs, which would earn them home field advantage in the ALDS.  The Rangers will try to clinch home field in the final game Wednesday against the Angels.

Texas closes out the regular season at the Ballpark tonight at 7:05pm.
