Rangers To Play Double-Header On Sunday

The game was called at 7:00 p.m. after a delay of three hours, 55 minutes.The current forecast for the vicinity of Rangers Ballpark in Arlington calls for moderate rain to continue over the next several hours.

Saturday’s game will be rescheduled as the second game of a split doubleheader TOMORROW, Sunday, September 30 beginning at 6:05 p.m. Tickets for today’s game will be good only for admission to the 6:05 p.m. contest on Sunday.

The start time of tomorrow’s regularly scheduled game has been moved from 2:05 p.m. to 12:05 p.m. The Rangers Ballpark in Arlington parking lots will open at 10:00 a.m. with the Ballpark gates opening at 10:30 a.m. All Fan Appreciation Day activities will take place during the 12:05 p.m. game.

For the 6:05 p.m. game, the Ballpark gates are scheduled to open at 5:05 p.m.

Both games on Sunday will be televised by Fox Sports Southwest. RHP Yu Darvish will start the first game, with LHP Derek Holland starting the second contest.

Sunday will mark the first home split doubleheader in Rangers history. Texas has played six split doubleheaders on the road, including April 21 of this season at Detroit.
