Rangers win 4-2 over White Sox

The Texas Rangers defeated the Chicago White Sox 4-2 on the arm of C.J. Wilson.  In 6 innings Wilson gave up 5 hits, along with 5 strike outs.  Reliever Dustin Nippert pitched another 2 scoreless innings before Frank Francisco closed out the game.

Catcher Matt Treanor provided most of the Rangers’ scoring offense, with a home run and a double for 3 of the Texas runs.

Texas, at 9-11, is at the bottom of the AL West, but only 2.5 games behind leader Oakland.
