Rangers win in Minnesota

The Texas Rangers finally cracked their curse to win at Target Field in Minnesota.  C.J. Wilson earned his 7th victory on the season as the Rangers defeated the Twins 9-3.

Wilson pitched 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits.

The Rangers gave Wilson a 7 run lead in the 2nd inning during a rain deluge on 6 hits, a walk, and 2 errors.  That cushion was more than Wilson would need.

Michael Young led the Rangers by going 3-for-5 at the plate with 3 RBIs.  Texas scored 13 hits in the game.

The Rangers play in Minnesota again this afternoon.
