Rangers Win Series In KC

The Texas Rangers clinched their third straight series win with a 5-4 victory in Kansas City on Thursday night.
The Rangers needed 10 innings to defeat the Royals for the 3rd time in 4 games. With the score tied at 4-4 in the 10th, Ian Kinsler gets on base with a triple and a scored on a single by Michael Young.
Starting pitcher Scott Feldman left the game with a 4-3 lead after 6 1/3 innings. Feldman allowed 6 hits and struck out 6 in the no-decision. Mike Adams picked up the win and Joe Nathan secured his 30th save.
Josh Hamilton and Adrian Beltre hit back-to-back home runs in the 4th inning. It is Hamilton’s 39th and Beltre’s 30th of the season.
Texas will stay on the road as they open a series in Tampa Bay tonight. Derek Holland will be on the mound for the Rangers in the 6:10pm start time.
