RoughRiders Defeat Midland

The Frisco RoughRiders defeated the Midland RockHounds 4-2 Monday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco.

With the game tied at 1-1 in the 5th, Frisco put the game out of reach with 3 runs on doubles by Engel Beltre and Jurickson Profar and a home run by Ryan Strausborger.

Starting pitcher Justin Grimm earned the win and improves his record to 6-1.  Grimm struck out 5, while allowing just 3 hits in 6 innings.  Grimm’s ERA is 1.60.  Middle reliever Ross Wolf pitched 2 scoreless innings before closer Johan Yan finish the game for his 8th save.
