Ryan Hunter-Reay wins IZOD IndyCar race at Long Beach

Ryan Hunter-Reay drove first to the finish line of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in the IZOD IndyCar Series.  Hunter-Reay cruised to the victory 5 seconds ahead of 2nd place finisher Justin Wilson.  Polesitter and points leader Will Power came in third.  “It was the most fun I had in a race car because it was handling so well,” said Hunter-Reay, who is the first American-born driver to win at Long Beach since Michael Andretti in 2002. “My mom is out there today. She passed along recently and this race is for her. Over the last couple of laps I said ‘This is for you, Mom.’ ”
