This is the first of six major championships over the next 11 years scheduled for the spectacular PGA Frisco including the Women’s PGA in 2025 and the PGA Championship in 2027.
The win is Stricker’s sixth senior major victory and it comes two weeks after his win at the Regions Tradition at Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, AL.
After leading after the first three rounds, Harington birdied the par-5 18th to force the playoff with the two Ryder Cup captains from the duel at Whistling Straits finishing at 18-under.

Stricker won with a par on the first playoff hole after Harrington missed his par putt to extend the championship.
The victory also means he is in the field for the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club.
