TCU won it’s fourth straight game on Saturday to improve to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in the Mountain West Conference.  TCU has not lost a MWC game since 2006, having won a league record 21 consecutive contests.

The Horned Frogs had a season-high in rushing yards (390) and total offense (617).  The 617 yards of offense was the seventh-best single-game total in TCU history.

With Waymon James running for a career-high 181 yards and Ed Wesley 120, TCU had two 100-yard rushers in the same game for the first time since last season versus San Diego State, when Matthew Tucker had 131 yards and James 102.  The Horned Frogs just missed a third 100-yard rusher as Tucker had 90 yards on 12 carries.  James’ 181 yards rushing were the most by a Horned Frog since Wesley ran for 209 last season against Air Force.

Quarterback Casey Pachall completed 17 of 24 passes for 227 yards.  Paschall spread the ball to 9 different receivers.

TCU’s 7-play, 75-yard drive on the game’s opening series marked the third straight contest it has scored a touchdown on its opening possession. It’s the fourth consecutive game and seventh time in nine contests that TCU scored on its first offensive series.

The Frogs travel to Boise State next week.
