INDIANAPOLIS – Mountain West champion TCU women’s tennis will travel to Durham, N.C., for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Women’s Tennis Championships, it was announced Tuesday evening.

The 32nd-ranked Horned Frogs (18-5) are the third seed in the Duke regional and will face second-seed South Carolina in the opening round. Duke, the No. 3 overall national seed, is the top-seed in its regional and will face Winthrop.

The selection into the NCAA Women’s Tennis Championships marks TCU’s 14th appearance all-time. It has advanced to the field of 64 in eight of the last nine years. In 2006, TCU advanced to the Sweet 16 for the only time in school history.
