TCU’s Broughton Signs With Saints

FORT WORTH, Texas — TCU defensive end Braylon Broughton has signed a free-agent contract with the New Orleans Saints.
A three-year letterman at TCU, Broughton started five games in 2011. The Dallas native totaled 25 tackles, including 12 solo stops, this season. He tied for fourth on the Horned Frogs with six tackles for loss.
Broughton totaled 9 1/2 tackles for loss, including three sacks, among his 45 career stops at TCU. He had five pass breakups and two fumble recoveries.
