TCU’s Raines Named MW Player Of The Week

FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU senior outside hitter Jordan Raines has been named the MW Player of the Week for her efforts in a win over New Mexico. The honor is the first of her career and the third of the season for the Horned Frogs.

Raines, a 6-0 senior from Coppell, Texas, led the Horned Frogs to a 3-0 win over New Mexico in TCU’s only match of the week. She posted her 12th double-double of the season with 12 kills and 16 digs. Her .429 attack percentage was the best of her career for a single match and she did not commit an attack error during the entire match. Eight of her digs came in the second set, while five of her kills came in the third.

For the week, Raines averaged 4.00 kills, 0.33 assists and 5.33 digs per set, while hitting .4.29. She averaged 4.00 points per set over three total sets.
