Texas Motor Speedway offers Jimmie Johnson special

FORT WORTH, Texas (Oct. 13, 2010) – Four-time defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson and Texas Motor Speedway will be offering a ticket package for the Nov. 7 AAA Texas 500 with such substantial savings that it will only be available for 48 hours beginning 9 a.m. Thursday.

The Jimmie Johnson “Drive For Five” promotion is a combination ticket package consisting of a frontstretch ticket for the AAA Texas 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, Pit Stop Pavilion hospitality ticket and pre-race pit pass for only $148. The Pit Stop Pavilion, located in the Village of Champions across from The Speedway Club, features complimentary food and beverage for the guests as well as a special “Q&A” session with Johnson beginning at 11 a.m. CT on race morning.

The promotion offers significant savings over the regular price for the Pit Stop Pavilion ticket/pit pass package since it sells for $149 and does not include the frontstretch ticket to the AAA Texas 500 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race. With the least expensive AAA Texas 500 frontstretch ticket available at $86, the Jimmie Johnson “Drive For Five” packages offers an $87 savings at a minimum (higher depending on seat pricing/location).
