The Texas Rangers defeated the Seattle Mariners 6-3 at Safeco Field in Seattle.
Rangers starting pitcher Matt Harrison went 6 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs. Elvis Andrus went 2 for 5 with 2 RBI’s. Left Fielder Josh Hamilton hit his 4th home run of the year.
Frank Francisco did not allow any hits or runs as he recorded his 2nd save of the year.
The Rangers have won 7 of their last 11 to even their record at 12-12.
