Toronto needs just 1 inning to top Rangers

The Toronto Blue Jays scored 6 runs in the 5th inning to beat the Texas Rangers 6-4 on Monday.  Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis gave up 2 walks and 3 home runs in his 3rd loss of the year.

Texas stayed in the game, scoring 4 runs, but the rally fell short in the 9th.

Michael Young extended his hitting streak to 15 games with a pair of doubles.  Yorvit Torrealba and Nelson Cruz each homered for the Rangers.

Texas will try again tonight at 7:05pm at the Ballpark in Arlington.
