World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play unveils the perfect unique holiday gift idea

AUSTIN, Texas – The 2020 World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play, which has sold out each of the first four years in Austin, is unveiling the perfect gift idea for family and friends this holiday season – a free $25 gift card to the PGA TOUR Superstore with the purchase of two grounds tickets. Fans are encouraged to once again get their tickets early before the 2020 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play sells out. The PGA TOUR’s only individual match-play event on the schedule returns to its historic host Austin Country Club, March 25-29, with only the top 64 in the Official World Golf Rankings set to qualify.

Ticket prices are set to rise following to holiday offer, but for a limited time and while supplies last, fans can receive exclusive savings and a $25 PGA TOUR SUPERSTORE gift card when they purchase two tickets to the tournament: two Wednesday tickets for $210, two Thursday tickets for $215, two Friday-Sunday tickets for $270 or 2 weekly tickets (Wed. – Sun.) for $790.

For fans interested in an upgraded tournament experience, tickets to The ULTRA Club are once again going fast. The ULTRA Club, which has quickly become a fan-favorite among the venues on course, is a premium, climate-controlled venue with sports-bar like seating and TVs located along the left side of the fairway of the picturesque par-5 12th hole with stunning views of the Pennybacker Bridge and Lake Austin.

Additional upgraded hospitality options are available in limited quantity but are filling up quickly. For more information on those, please inquire at dellmatchplay.com.

The 2020 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play will continue to provide a substantial impact to the local Austin community with charitable proceeds from the event going to First Tee of Greater Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. Tournament officials announced in September that the 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play raised over $1.1 million for local Austin-based charitable organizations, bringing the four-year total in Austin to over $4.3 million. Since its inception in 1999, the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play has generated more than $19 million for charity (including past locations and title sponsors).

With an incredible venue in Austin Country Club and the 64 best players in the world set to compete in a format unique to Austin, the 2020 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play is gearing up to once again be one of the biggest events on golf’s calendar. The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play annually boasts one of the strongest fields of the PGA TOUR season. In 2019, world No. 1 Brooks Koepka, 82-time PGA TOUR winner Tiger Woods, 18-time TOUR winner Rory McIlroy, 2017 FedExCup champion Justin Thomas and former Texas Longhorn and 2015 FedExCup champion Jordan Spieth each competed in the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.

The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play is one of the most elite and exciting tournaments on golf’s calendar—it is one in a series of four World Golf Championships events sanctioned and organized by the operational committee of the International Federation of PGA Tours, which includes the Asian Tour, European Tour, Japan Golf Tour, PGA TOUR, PGA Tour of Australasia and Sunshine Tour.
