Bubba wins! and it’s not NASCAR

Bubba Watson won the Travelers Championship in a playoff with Scott Verplank and Corey Pavin. Watson came from six shots behind in the final round. It is Watson’s first PGA TOUR victory. The win puts him in 8th place in the FedExCup standings. Ernie Els remains the FedExCup points leader.

Scott Verplank shot a final round 64 to get into the playoff. Corey Pavin’s final round was 66.

Third round leader Justin Rose shot a final round 75 to finish T9.
