Cowboys Hold On To Defeat Bucs 31-15

The Dallas Cowboys were in need of an easy win, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers provided it. The Cowboys jumped out to a 28-0 lead before halftime which was too much even for them to give up. The Bucs tried to make it interesting, but eventually fell 31-15.
Dallas quarterback Tony Romo completed 23 of 30 passes for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns for a QB rating of 133.9 . Romo also ran for a touchdown.
Romo threw to 8 different receivers, led by Miles Austin, who had 5 catches for 53 yards and a touchdown. Jason Witten caught 4 for 77 yards. Dez Bryant caught 4 passes for 40 yards and a touchdown. Laurent Robinson scored a touchdown on 3 catches for 29 yards.
Running back Felix Jones earned his second consecutive 100-yard game, totaling 108 yards on 22 attempts, Newly-signed running back Sammy Morris gained 53-yards on 12 carries.
The Dallas defense held the Buccaneers to 190 total yards, most of it in the 3rd quarter. Tampa Bay converted 43% of 3rd-downs. Dallas sacked the Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman 3 times.
The Cowboys improve to 8-6, and hold a half-game lead over the New York Giants. Dallas must win the final 2 games, against Philadelphia and New York, to clinch the NFC East Division title and a playoff spot.
