The Dallas Cowboys acquired cornerback Justin Green from the New England Patriots on Tuesday in exchange for defensive tackle Ben Bass.
Undrafted out of Illinois, Green spent most the 2013 season on the Patriots practice squad. He was active for two games and saw special-team action.
Bass, 6-foot-5, 295 pounds, was undrafted out of Texas A&M. As a rookie, he appeared in two games for the Cowboys. He was on injured reserve all of last season after suffering a shoulder injury.
