Key matchups of the week:

Steelers @ Giants – Pittsburgh is 16-6 against the NFC under coach Mike Tomlin.  New York has won 4 of the past 6 games against the Steelers.  Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is 2nd in the AFC with a passer rating of 101.4.  Giants quarterback Eli Manning has won 8 in a row versus the AFC.  The Steelers are coming off a dominating win over the Redskins while the Giants held on to a 29-24 victory in Dallas last week.

Cowboys @ Falcons – The Falcons are 7-0 for the first time in team history and are the last remaining unbeaten team in the NFL.  Dallas is attempting to break even on the season and stay within sight  of the playoff hunt.  This game features to future Hall of Fame tight ends, with Tony Gonzalez of the Falcons needing 1 TD catch to reach 100.  Cowboys tight end Jason Witten caught an NFL-record 18 passes last week against the Giants and needs just 4 catches to become the all-time Cowboys leader in receptions.

Eagles @ Saints –  Both of these teams are facing must-win situations.  The 3-4 Eagles are mired in controversy with both their head coach and quarterback being on the hot seat.  The Saints are still trying to dig out of the off-season hole created from the bounty scandal.  Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has won 5 of 7 games against the Saints.  New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees has thrown a TD pass in 50 straight games, an NFL record.
