Fans also can capture their experience with a photo in Victory Lane for $10. In addition, special VIP packages are available that include a reserved time for a five-lap driving session, photo in Victory Lane, two event t-shirts, two-week trial membership to The Speedway Club and dinner for two in The Speedway Club that evening for $250.             “What better way to help the children of North Texas than to experience some high-speed thrills?” Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage said. “This event continues to be Speedway Children’s Charities most successful as it allows fans to act as though they are some of the great professional drivers that race around ‘The Great American Speedway!’ ‘Laps For Charity’ is a key reason as to why Speedway Children’s Charities has helped distribute more than $7.5 million in funding to local charities.”

Fans also can take part in a special car show that will be held from 3-7 p.m. in the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track parking lot. Christian Faith Fellowship will host the car show that will feature 25 different classes and will present more than 55 awards.
