FC Dallas Battles Chivas USA To A Tie

{fshare id=2735}

FC Dallas (3-9-5) tied 0-0 with Chivas USA (5-7-4) in a game that FC Dallas controlled. FC Dallas has 14 points in the playoff standing and is 5 points away from the Colorado Rapids, the last seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

FC Dallas was able to take complete control of the offensive in possessions and passing. Unfortunately, the game was one of defense holding a defensive stance that only allowed two shots from Chivas USA.

The defensive was led by goalkeeper Kevin Hartman who recorded a save to avoid a game upset. Hartman is now one game away from becoming the first player in MLS History to play in 400 matches.

Brek Shea led the offensive attack with 6 shots including a potential game winnings shot in the first minute of the bonus that was blocked in the last second. This was Shea’s first game back after missing more than a month while serving a three-game suspicion.

FC Dallas is now at a team worst 11 league games without a win. They hope to get back on a winning streak when they take on Toronto FC on July 4.
