Zimmerman got free in front of the net on a corner kick, and Mauro Diaz found him for a right-footed volley that got past Orlando City keeper Joe Bendik and put FC Dallas ahead 1-0 in the 11th minute.

Ten minutes later, Barrios made it 2-0, slipping behind the Lions’ defense and chipping a ball over a charging Bendik.

Diaz also assisted on Hedges’ goal in the 61st minute, giving him his fourth two-assist game of the season and second in a row.

Castillo, who has been red hot, added a fourth goal off an assist from Tesho Akindele and Kellyn Acosta two minutes into extra time.

With 30 minutes to play, Orlando City had gotten off just one shot. The Lions finished with just three shots, none on net.
