FC Dallas has come to terms with its second-round selection in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft, Ryan Hollingshead, and picked up the 2014 options of 15 players, the club announced today.

FC Dallas has also traded Jackson to Toronto FC for allocation money and a conditional second-round pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft.

Hollingshead, a 22-year-old midfielder, elected to help his brother build a church in Sacramento, Calif., rather than turn pro after being selected by FC Dallas with the 20th overall pick in the Jan. 17, 2013 draft. A midfielder from UCLA, Hollingshead was a second-team NSCAA All-America selection following the 2012 season after tallying seven goals and eight assists. In four seasons with the Bruins, Hollingshead tallied 16 goals and 21 assists.

Jackson, 25, joined FC Dallas on Aug. 13, 2010. Originally a defender, the Brazilian also saw time at midfield and forward. He made 91 appearances, scored 11 goals and had 13 assists in MLS

competition. He also added two goals in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup competition.

The following players are under contract with FC Dallas for the 2014 season:

GOALKEEPERS (5): Raul Fernandez, Chris Seitz, Richard Sanchez, Kyle Zobeck, Jesse Gonzalez.

DEFENDERS (9): Jair Benitez, George John, Kellyn Acosta, Matt Hedges, Walker Zimmerman, Stephen Keel, Michel, London Woodberry, Moises Hernandez.

MIDFIELDERS (6): Andrew Jacobson, Je-Vaughn Watson, Bobby Warshaw, Danny Garcia, Mauro Diaz, Ryan Hollingshead.

FORWARDS: (5): Fabian Castillo, Blas Perez, Bradlee Baladez, Jonathan Top, Eric Hassli.

FC Dallas was unable to come to terms with forward Kenny Cooper and has tendered a bona fide offer to defender Zach Loyd. Cooper is eligible for Stage 1 of the MLS Re-Entry Draft on Thursday, Dec. 12. Loyd is not eligible for the MLS Re-Entry Draft. The contract of Homegrown midfielder Victor Ulloa has expired and will not be renewed by FC Dallas.
