Final Round Begins For HP Byron Nelson Championship
Louis Oosthuizen and Brendon Todd lead the HP Byron Nelson Championship going into the final round at 10-under. The third-round leader/co-leader has won 13 of 25 stroke-play events this season, most recently Martin Kaymer at THE PLAYERS Championship.
Gary Woodland, Mike Weir, and James Hahn trail by just one stroke.
Sponsor exemption Scottie Scheffler, the 17 year old amatuer from local Highland Park high school, recorded a hole-in-one on No. 2 in round three with a 5-iron from 218 yards. It is just the sixth ace on TOUR this season. It is the first hole-in-one at this event since J.J. Henry’s in 2012 on No. 5.
