Local Athlete of the week – Kyle Padron

We have a new feature here at DFWsportsonline where we highlight a local athlete of the week.   The purpose of this feature is to celebrate sports and provide recognition to those who live an active lifestyle.  They are not required to be champions, superstars, stats leaders, or well known.  We celebrate their activity – and that makes them all winners in our eyes.

For our first installment, we select Kyle Padron, quarterback of the SMU Mustangs.  Kyle is from Southlake, and chose to stay in the DFW area for his college career.

Kyle led SMU to their 2nd consecutive bowl game, the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, last Thursday.
