Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain will not play Sunday against the Washington Redskins because of an illness.
McClain, the Cowboys’ second-leading tackler this season, did not make the trip to Washington, the team announced.
McClain fully participated in practice Thursday and Friday.
Dallas already has the NFC East division title clinched so the team can afford to rest him for the playoffs.
