Packers, Steelers in Super Bowl

The Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburg Steelers will face off in Arlington for Super Bowl XLV.  In the process, each will claim to be the most successfull NFL franchise ever.  The Packers have an NFL-record 12 championships, dating back to the days before the Super Bowl, while the Steelers already have the most Super Bowl victories (6).

Green Bay will come into the game with an offense led by Aaron Rodgers who threw 28 touchdowns during the season.  Rodgers has quietly made the Packer fans put the memory of Brett Favre deep inside their cheeseheads.  The Packer rushing game averages 100 yards per game without any superstar running back on the roster.

Pittsburg comes in with a smash-mouth game which depends on the running game to beat the opponents down so quarterback Ben Roethlisberger can close in for the score (much as he has been known to do with his personal life.)  The Steelers average over 120 yards per game on the ground.

The Packers are an early favorite, even though Pittsburg has won the last 3 games between the two teams.
