Fort Worth, Texas  – Tickets to the Red Bull Air Race World Championship’s first U.S. stop in Fort Worth, Texas, are on sale now through www.redbullairrace.com. Hitting the Texas Motor Speedway on Sept. 26-27, the event is one of two stops in the U.S. as part of the world’s fastest motorsport series. The eight-race 2015 schedule, which has already kicked off with the season opener last month in the United Arab Emirates, will also take to the skies in Japan, Croatia, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Las Vegas and Austria. A wide range of tickets – everything from general admission to hospitality areas with fine catering and the best views – are available with pricing starting at $29.

Red Bull Air Race’s first-ever stop at Texas Motor Speedway last year was a historic occasion, marking the first time an air race of any kind was held inside a motor speedway in the United States. More than 50,000 race fans witnessed elite pilots compete at the speedway facility that includes 1.5mile track with high-speed and low-altitude aerial racing.

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world’s best race pilots in a

pure motorsport competition that combines speed, precision and skill. Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial track made up of air-filled pylons 80 feet high at speeds of up to 230 mph.

The return to the Texas Motor Speedway will also serve as the return of crowd favorite and Texas native, Kirby Chambliss. Born in Corpus Christi, Chambliss is a legend of the Red Bull Air Race Master Class, with top-three championship finishes in seven of his eight years competing, including two World Championships. Chambliss will be fighting to claim a podium in his home country in September after a bad start in the season opener in Abu Dhabi. Technical difficulties forced Chambliss to withdraw from the first stop, setting him up for a very competitive fight back to the points race. Brit Paul Bonhomme leads the 2015 series with 12 points. He placed third overall last year in the series.

Tickets for the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Fort Worth are on sale now through www.redbullairrace.com and in person at the Texas Motor Speedway ticket office (817-215-8500). Tickets are available with prices starting at $29 for a full day of high-adrenaline racing. Discounts for active military service members are offered. Each ticket for the finals on Sunday will also grant the ticket bearer access to qualifying and the Challenger Cup on Saturday.
