Stars 3, Blues 2

Dallas, TX – The Dallas Stars continued their home dominance with a 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues. 

St. Louis scored first, with Andy McDonald scoring a short-handed goal.  The Stars would not be down long as Brad Richards scored his 11th goal in the 2nd period.  McDonald would score again in the 2nd period to give the Blues a 2-1 lead.

Jamie Benn tied the game for the Stars with a short-handed goal of his own at 7:53 of the 3rd period.  Benn then assisted Mike Ribeiro make the game-winning shot with 3:29 left in the game.

Goaltender Kari Lehtonen made 25 saves for Dallas.

The teams play again in St. Louis on Saturday night.
