The Dallas Stars earned their 3rd consecutive win Thursday night with a 3-2 victory over the New York Islanders.

The Stars opended the scoring with a tip-in from Loui Eriksson, assisted by Jamie Benn and Trevor Daley.  The Islanders tied the game in the closing minutes of the 1st period and took the lead with the only goal in the 2nd.

Dallas evened the score barely a minute into the final period on a power-play goal by Brenden Morrow.  Jamie Benn put the Stars ahead for good with a wrist shot, assisted by Eriksson and Michael Ryder.

Goaltender Richard Bachman won his 3rd straight game as a starter, remaining perfect on the season during his fill-in for Kari Lehtonen.  Bachman has allowed just 3 goals in 3 games.

Dallas will close-out their 5-game road trip with a game against the New Jersey Devils.
