Stars beat Kings 2-1

The Dallas Stars continued their January winning ways with a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Stars right wing Jamie Langenbrunner, playing in his 1000th game, hit the game-winning goal on a power play late in the 2nd period.

The Stars fell behind in the 1st period on a Justin Williams goal, the only score of the period.

Dallas tied the game in the 2nd period on a power play goal by Loui Eriksson, his 17th of the season.

Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen made 23 saves to seal the Dallas win.
