Stars beat Ottawa 2-1

The Dallas Stars broke a 4-game road losing streak to defeat the Ottawa Senators Wednesday night. 

Stars captain Brenden Morrow scored the winning goal early in the 3rd period, his 9th on the season.

Dallas opened the scoring with a goal by Trevor Daley in the 1st period.  Ottawa’s Ryan Shannon tied the game in the 2nd.

Stars goaltender Andrew Raycroft made 18 saves in the win.

The Stars improve to 11-8-1 overall and return home to play St. Louis on Friday.
