Stars Calm Hurricanes

The Dallas Stars defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 5-2 Sunday afternoon in Raleigh. 

Jamie Benn scored 2 goals the Stars, each time assisted by Loui Eriksson, who had 3 assists in the game.  Eric Nystrom, Stephane Robidas, and Michael Ryder also made goals for Dallas.  Nystrum’s goal was his 3rd in the last 4 games.  

Goaltender Kari Lehtonen stopped 30 shots in the game, improving his record to 10-1 on the year.

The Stars continue their road trip Tuesday night in Washington.
