The Dallas Stars lost their third game in a row with a 2-1 loss in Columbus to the Blue Jackets Monday night.

Philip Larson made the only goal for the Stars.  Larson hit a wrist shot on a power play at 4:13 into the second period with an assist by Alex Goligoski and Jamie Benn.

Goaltender Kari Lehtonen saved 25 of 27 shots, including all 10 shots attempted when Columbus was on a power play.

For the second straight game, the Stars could not control the puck.  Dallas coach Glen Gulutzan lamented the turnovers,  “We got away from the game plan and we started turning pucks over.  Instead of them losing momentum from all the penalty kills, we gave it to them with the turnovers at the blue line.”

The Stars stay on the road tonight to take on the Red Wings in Detroit.
