Stars lose game, win fight
|The Dallas Stars lost to the Boston Bruins 6-3 on Thursday night in a game featuring 4 fights in the opening period. During that 1st period, Boston jumped to a 4-0 lead, which proved too much for Dallas to overcome.
The Stars made a game of it in the 2nd and 3rd periods, scoring 3 straight goals before the Bruins sealed the game with 2 more.
Goals for Dallas were scored by Karlis Skrastins, Brenden Morrow, and Brad Richards.
Goalie Andrew Raycroft was pulled just over a minute into the game after giving up 2 goals on 2 shots. Kari Lehtonen saved 29 of 32 shots.
