For the first time in almost a month, the Dallas Stars lost on the road, falling to the Winnipeg Jets 5-2.  The loss ends a 6-game winning streak for the Stars, who lead the Pacific Division.

Both Dallas goals came from Loui Eriksson, one each in the 2nd and 3rd periods.  Mike Ribeiro, Michael Ryder, and Alex Goligoski were credited with assists.

Richard Bachman got the start as goaltender for Dallas and gave up the 5 goals on 28 shots by Winnipeg.  “It’s real tough to swallow, and I’ve just got to be better,” Bachman said. “We just kind of let that second period slip away, in large part I didn’t feel extremely sharp tonight.”

The Stars host Chicago Friday night at the American Airlines Center.
