The Dallas Stars ended the season with a 3-2 loss at the American Airlines Center Saturday night.  It is the 5th straight loss for Dallas, who will miss the playoffs for the 4th straight year.  It is the first time the Blues have beat the Stars in Dallas since March 4, 2010.

The Stars power play finished last in the NHL for the first time in franchise history. The Stars finished the year 33/241 (13.7%) on the power play, which is the first time in franchise history the Stars have finished the season under 14 percent. It is also the least amount of power play goals scored (33) during a season.

Stars head coach Glen Gulutzan finished his rookie season at 42-35-5, becoming only the third rookie head coach in franchise history to record 40 or more wins in their rookie head-coaching season.

The Stars got goals from Ryan Garbutt and Philip Larsen.

Stars players Brenden Dillon and Scott Glennie made their debut with Dallas.

Richard Bachman played at goaltender and made 32 of 35 stops.
