Stars Lose To Flyers

The Dallas Stars fell to the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1 on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center.

Michael Ryder scored on a wrist shot for the Stars in the opening minute of the game, but it was all downhill from there.  Philadelphia scored the next 4 goals, 2 of them on power plays.  Michael Ryder’s goal gives him a three-game goal streak, his longest as a Dallas Star and first since a three-game streak from Jan. 13-17, 2011, with the Bruins. He also has points in five of his last six games (3g, 2a). Jamie Benn’s assist gives him a four-game assist streak. He has points in five of his last six games. Loui Eriksson’s assist gives him points in four consecutive games.

 

The Flyers improved their NHL-best road record to 13-3-2.

Dallas will cap-off the homestand on Friday with a game against Nashville.
