Stars Lose To Kings

The Stars dropped a 5-3 decision to the Kings on Thursday night, giving Dallas its first home loss of the season. The Stars’ record is now 7-3-0 for 14 points.
Dallas opened the scoring with Trevor Daley getting a power-play goal, his first goal of the season. Loui Eriksson and Jamie Benn assisted.
The Kings dominated the 2nd period, scoring 3 goals.
Michael Ryder hit a wrist shot in the 3rd period, with assists by Mike Ribeiro and Brenden Morrow. Eric Nystrom scored his first goal as a Dallas Star, a game-tying wrist shot assisted by Vernon Fiddler and Radek Dvorak.
Kari Lehtonen saved 24 of 28 in his first loss of the season.
Dallas will host New Jersey on Saturday.
